Sabrina Evans-Laurence is a Minister, Life Coach, Speaker, Philanthropist, Artist, Writer and Mother.  Her pursuit and love for God began in a relationship that almost stole her life.  A fever welled up within Sabrina sparking an intimacy that enabled her to find herself through faith, belief and trust in God.  The Lord willed her existence by showing His grace and mercy even though she made a decision that took her down a beaten path.  Emotional and verbal abuse; fear; and repercussions from the power of choice landed her with a broken spirit in need of desperate repair.  With no other place to turn but God, Sabrina dived into His word day and night, diligently seeking His wisdom and Kingdom with a thirst that only God's knowledge could quench.

Sabrina's willing heart and desire to serve God opened the doorway for healing, transformation and restoration to begin.  Years of tears, hurt, frustration, and disappointment lead her in and out of valleys, over mountain tops, back down and up again.  The layers of pain began to peel back as the shell around her slowly cracked opened exposing  coatings of anguish, lack of self-love, self-confidence and self-worth.  Despair knew no shame and overcame Sabrina one dark, lonely night that lasted for five days.  She experienced an awakening: the power and love of Christ Jesus.  God wanted her to receive the love of Christ with new eyes - "spiritual eyes".  Even though she knew Jesus and always prayed to the Lord; it wasn't enough.  That night she cried out from the depths of her soul, but this time...it was for Jesus.  Sabrina finally realized in order to do God's work on earth, she had to recognize His son's real power as Lord over Heaven and earth personally.  She needed to link the power of knowing "whose you are" to the suffering Christ Jesus endured outside the city gates and on the cross so she could truly receive His salvation, deliverance and freedom: his peace.  Through this experience, Sabrina learned its one thing to know Christ Jesus; however, its another thing to allow Him to live in your hear and reign over your heart.  God wanted Sabrina to be free from her pain by accepting Christ in her heart; the place where real transformation takes place. 

Sabrina's passion to help women and young girls who are in, coming out of or broken free of emotionally and verbally abusive relationships is fueled by God's inspiration for her life and vision for Red Rose Ministry.  She says, "I had to get honest with myself and God about the decision I made; it was my responsibility.  I invited turbulence into my life and chaos was the result.  God is not the author of confusion". 

"Today, I know whose I am, meaning I know I belong to God.  I am His child, His daughter.  He is the Most High God.  His is my Daddy, my Holy Father.  I communicate with Him as one would communicate with a parent.  I know and understand that He knew me before I was born.   He desires for me to fulfill His purpose, not mine by giving my life and a spirit of power, of love and and self-discipline.  I praise Him and try to glorify Him through all of my actions, although sometimes I do mess up and fall short of His glory.  When this happens, I repent for my sins and keep striving to do better.  I am in touch with the power that resides within me and where it comes from.  I allow Christ Jesus to abide in my heart."

Through my experiences, I learned how to love myself by loving God and Christ Jesus first.  My perspective on self-love, self-confidence and self-worth is now in direct alignment with God's standards, what Christ teaches in the holy scriptures.  I understand that faith is about action and deeds, not words; therefore, I walk by faith through my spirit and not by sight through my flesh.  I do not lean own my understanding, but rather on God's by going to His word.  I love God with all my heart, my might and my strength.  I trust God with all the affairs of my life and believe that he CAN and WILL handle them.  I testify that the Most High God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is real!  Christ Jesus is real! I am a witness.  His powerful hand brought me out of "my wilderness" and into "his promise land".  The love of Christ set me free, free to do God's will: the work of Red Rose Ministry.  He changed my life and He can change your life too."
