Mission Statement |
Red Rose Ministry's mission is help unfold the stagma of being abused emotionally and verbally so that women and young girls can free themselves to begin the work of healing and restoration. Chirst Jesus is our healer and savior: through him all things are possible, if you believe. This is our challenge; however, if we would only give him the chance to work in our lives, we'll see his almighty power and change take place in our lives. "For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love, and of self-discipline." Our ministry is helps women and young girls refocus their lives on Jesus Christ; thereby learning what God expects of our relationship with ourselves and others. In doing so, we build stronger values of self-love, self-confidence and self-worth. Many of us may love ourselves, but maybe we just need to love ourselves a little bit more: the way God wants us too. As they gain a deeper insight about what God teaches us in His Living Word regarding self and relationships, they can tap into their God-given "spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline". This doesn't mean that in the process of healing and restoring oneself we can't fall from time to time or even stumble; however, as we mature in His word we become more spiritually conscious about the decisions and choices we make. We are not born perfect, but we must raise the bar of our standards from the world's way, and live by God's way. Jesus says in Mathew 5:48 "be perfect, therefore as your heavenly Father is perfect". Paul says in Corinthians 13:11 "aim for perfection, listen to my appeal, be of one mind, live in peace". During this process, we can examine how we allow others to treat us, and what decisions we have made or are making in our lives that affect us negatively. Our goal is to help beautiful beings to develop loving relationships with themselves by accepting the empowerment of our Holy Father's word.
