Biblical Insights
Facing difficulties in relationships with others and ourselves can
be challenging sometimes. Referring back to God's word during
any situation helps us to deal with troublesome times, make better
decisions, grow in character, and develop a closer
relationship with
Him. God’s holy scriptures give you the knowledge of what
He expects from all of us in relationships. Even if your life
and relationships are better, God still wants you to mediate on His
law day and night as a reminder to walk in His ways at all times.
(Scriptures quoted from the Zondervan, New International Version
(NIV) Bible
translation.)
God-Centered Life
"My grace is sufficient for you, for my
power is made perfect in weakness."
2 Corinthians 12:9
"Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show it by
his good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from
wisdom. But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in
your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth. Such
"wisdom" does not come down from heaven but is earthly,
unspiritual, of the devil. For where you have envy and selfish
ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice. But
the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then
peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good
fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace
raise a harvest of righteousness."
James 3:3-18
God-Centered Relationship
"Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to
become angry, for man's anger does not bring about the righteous
life that God's desires. Therefore get rid of all moral filth
and evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted
in you which can save you."
James 1:19-21
"The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality,
impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred,
discord, jealously, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions,
factions, and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like."
Galatians 5:19-21
"Do
not let unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only
what is helpful for building others up according to their needs,
that it may benefit those who listen."
Ephesians 4:29
"Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such
things God's wrath comes on those who are disobedient.
Therefore do not be partners with them."
Ephesians 5:6-7
"Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger,
brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind
and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in
Christ God forgave you." Ephesians 4:31-32
God-Center Marriage
"Wives submit to your husbands as the Lord. For the
husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the
church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the
church submit to
Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in
everything."
Ephesians 5:22-24
"Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and
gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the
washing with water through the word, and to present her to
himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any
other blemish, but holy and blameless. In this same way,
husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who
loves his wife loves himself. After all, no one ever hated the
church ̶ for we are members of his body. For this reason a man
will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and
the two will become one flesh. This is a profound mystery ̶ but
I am talking about Christ and the church. However, each one of
you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife
must respect her husband."
Ephesians 5:25-33
"Wives, submit to your husbands as it is fitting to the Lord.
Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh to them."
Colossians 3:18-19
Please Note...Red Rose Ministry is a
Christian organization that tries to glorify God and the Lord
our Savior, Christ Jesus, in all ways. Therefore, you will
find that we purposefully capitalize a few nouns and pronouns
throughout our web site, online materials and marketing tools
when referring to the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit. We
refuse to capitalize satan's name or others related, even if it
is grammatically incorrect, because they are everything that is
considered evil to the Holy Father. In the Lord's name, we
rebuke satan in the name of Christ Jesus of Nazareth. |
